Let’s suppose the AI system is operating millions of miles from Earth with communication delays measured in minutes or hours, the ability to remember, learn, and adapt becomes the difference between mission success and catastrophic failure.

Why Memory for Space AI Agents?

Early space systems were mostly reactive – they executed pre-programmed sequences with minimal autonomy. This is like having a spacecraft that follows a rigid checklist but can not adapt when conditions change.
